Urban Dilemmas.
Playing in the park or farming in the backyard or informal meeting at the front yard was the kind of activities that are etched on the reel of my memories of my hometown.

Fountainhead
Fountainhead by Ayn Rand is an inspiring book about the world of Architects and Writers lacquered by power and hierarchy. This is one of the books I feel every student of architecture should read.

When I meet Death
Death,
Lurks without Anklet
Encountering one, brusquely
Or as the flow of still water
But certain. Continue reading “When I meet Death”
The Fire.
The view of the people embracing the warmth of the fire.
Recently, I was in Jaipur for a Convention. It was during the month of January. Average night time temperature was around 8-10 degree Celsius. I was not accustomed with this type of weather and so do the other attendees ( around 3k). So to overcome the extreme cold, we lit bonfires. We sat around it and shared our opinions on various aspects of life, we sang songs, made poems and did what the aura would make us do. It was a national level college convention. I noticed something sad during those days. No college ever took the initiative to talk to the representatives of the other colleges. When the door to accept a stranger opened, they distracted themselves with the smart-phones. Some call, the fact of not acknowledging stranger, Ego, I call it Xenophobia. It was at this point of high xenophobia around, the blanket of chill air and the cold performed its magic. It became so extreme that the bonfires became the most sought after thing. The warmth of the bonfire was so comforting that one, no matter what, had to shed his differences and engage with a stranger to enjoy the pleasant feeling created by the fire.
My perspective towards fire changed. This fire was neither from a ambitious person with burning desire nor from a jealousy acquittance. This fire in its very scoop of innocence did what it meant to do – Unite people.
The acceptance of people of different region, speaking different dialect and different background of thought process broadened my vision towards life and ambitions. When we meet these people, both parties have something to offer to each other. And they exchange it without any hesitation. Isn’t that the Humankind for?
So musketeers, There are many amazing people out there. One just have to break the ice of Social Awkwardness and talk, talk to strangers. ( PS: Don’t creep them out 🙂 )

Yet, they speak
They say… Beasts don’t understand
They say… Beasts don’t feel
They say… it is impossible
They say… it is absurd Continue reading “Yet, they speak”
Now… I’m forced
From dawn to dusk,
Tiring tiring…
Tiring for such trivial thing
But fear that surpasses the triviality
Transforms it into a significant one.
Eyes drooping,
Starving to sleep Continue reading “Now… I’m forced”
